KWDB serves Island County, San Juan County, and parts of Jefferson, Skagit, Snohomish and Whatcom Counties. Located in the coverage area are the communities of Oak Harbor, Clinton, Coupeville, Freeland, Langley, Port Townsend, Sequim, Friday Harbor, Eastsound, Victoria, B.C., Anacortes, Burlington, Conway, Mount Vernon, and Stanwood. Oak Harbor is home to Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, which hosts both shore and sea going commands of the EA-6B Prowler and the P-3 Orion.
